Taking a Christmas Break and 2021 changes

2020 has been a challenging year for everyone, and we've been really grateful for all the support and of course the orders for our work!

We've decided to take a break over Christmas, recharge the batteries, make some changes in the background to the store, and come back smelling of roses in January. So we've decided to close for new orders from today until the New Year.

We'll also be switching over to print sizes that you'll recognise more readily - so the 8 x 12, 18 x 12, 24 x 16 and 30 x 20 prints will become A4, A3, A2 and A1. The main reason for doing this is...paper. We shoot our images natively at an aspect ratio of 3x2, so call it 1.5:1 for the purposes of this. If you send your images off to a print house, that's easy.

Most photographers use A sized paper, and we didn't want to do that. A sized paper uses a 1.4 x 1 ratio, and it's something we didn't want to switch to. Until now, we've used bigger paper and trimmed it to size to make our prints look the way we want them to. The reality is, prints cost more to make, frames cost more to make. Using A sized paper and A sized frames makes sense ultimately for our business and it's a format customers understand and are used to.

Our canvas prints will also move to that format.

We'll be making these changes over the next few days, and you'll find a different lay out to the store is coming for 2021 too.

We'll be sticking with our 2020 prices though, and adding some new and exciting images into the mix.

Wishing you all the very best for Christmas for you and yours. Stay safe in these crazy times.
